The Electro-Voice EKX Series hits the sweet spot for professional gigging musicians, mobile DJs, and installed sound applications, positioning itself seamlessly above the ELX series and just below the flagship ETX series. Combining EV's legendary sound quality and reliability with cutting-edge technology, the EKX series features highly efficient 1500W Class-D amplifiers (in powered models) and custom-engineered transducers housed in rugged, acoustically superior 15mm wood enclosures. The powered "P" models integrate EV's QuickSmartDSP, offering class-leading processing, intuitive single-knob control, and intelligent thermal management. Whether deployed as main PA mains, side fills, or stage monitors, the EKX 12-inch and 15-inch full-range loudspeakers deliver chest-thumping power, stunning vocal clarity, and tour-ready durability.

• QuickSmartDSP (Powered Models): Features best-in-class processing via an intuitive single-knob user interface and LCD. Includes four presets (Music, Live, Speech, Club), sub/top system-match crossovers, three-band EQ, and visual monitoring of limiter status and input levels.
• SST Waveguide Technology: EV's patented Signal Synchronized Transducers (SST) waveguide design physically time-aligns the high and low-frequency drivers, providing precise and consistent coverage across the entire 90° x 60° dispersion area.
• Intelligent Thermal Management (Powered Models): Utilizes a variable-speed fan controlled by multiple onboard sensors to ensure the 1500W Class-D amplifier remains cool and performs reliably during the most demanding, high-output performances.
• Tour-Grade Wood Enclosures: Housed in lightweight yet robust 15mm plywood cabinets finished with EV's proprietary, scratch-resistant EVCoat. Features all-metal handles, an aluminum pole mount, and eight M10 rigging points for secure suspension.
