Overview

The Turbosound NuQ Series is a premium, highly versatile family of point-source loudspeakers and subwoofers engineered for the most demanding professional portable PA and permanent installation applications. Renowned for their exceptional vocal clarity, defined transient response, and pristine broadband articulation, NuQ series cabinets feature custom-designed carbon fiber loaded low-frequency drivers and neodymium high-frequency compression drivers. The series is divided into passive models for use with external amplification and active "-AN" models, which integrate cutting-edge Klark Teknik Class-D amplification and ULTRANET digital audio networking. With rotatable waveguides and exceptionally rugged birch plywood enclosures, the NuQ series offers audio professionals a highly scalable, acoustically superior solution for theaters, corporate A/V, houses of worship, and live music venues.

• Custom-Engineered Transducers: Features carbon fiber loaded low-frequency woofers for deep, tight bass and aluminum dome neodymium high-frequency compression drivers for extended high-frequency reproduction.
• Rotatable Converging Elliptical Waveguide: Provides smooth, even dispersion. The rotatable design allows the cabinet to be deployed either vertically as a main PA or horizontally as an ultra-low profile stage monitor without compromising coverage.
• ULTRANET Digital Audio Networking (On -AN Models): Allows for the seamless transmission of up to 16 independent channels of 24-bit digital audio and control data via a single CAT5 cable, directly connecting to compatible digital consoles and personal monitor systems.
• Klark Teknik DSP Technology (On -AN Models): Provides high-resolution, room-adaptable digital signal processing, including dynamic EQ, transparent limiting, and spatial contouring via a rear-panel LCD or remote PC software.
• Architectural-Grade Birch Enclosures: Constructed from 15mm (5/8-inch) or 18mm (3/4-inch) premium birch plywood finished in a hard-wearing semi-matt black paint, ensuring acoustic resonance control and road-ready durability.
